What I did was buy an optical cable splitter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D1KHWGB/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1So... 1) one optical cable exits the TV and inputs into the splitter 2) two optical cables output from the splitter (one to the soundbar and one to the headphone transmitter).
