  1. Q My earbuds continue to stay connected to my device even after I put them in the charging case. Shouldn't the earbuds disconnect when put in the case?
    A Same problem. They stay connected, there is no way to turn them off except by manually connecting and disconnecting on the phone.

    A Down below is a link on page 3 to do a manual reset, Also be aware that there are two versions of the Jbuds Air that's why I sent you 2 links since I'm not sure what version you have.   3. Q How do i access the custom eq?
    A Three taps on either earbud should switch consecutively between the 3 equalization modes, but often, not all 3 register. Both the positioning of the tap and the timing are critical.
  4. Q Can I use it with only one earbud at a time?
    A I had the older pair that would only connect the right side. With this newer version you can use either left or right earbud independently.

  8. Q Are the air icons just different because of appearance or is the button different too? Is the button touch vs click like the airs?
    A The button is touch, not click and they come with one pair of different ear buds. Having said that, the JLab icons are super uncomfortable!

    A Touch button only
  10. Q How do you answer calls?
    A To answer a call.....you tap on either earbud once.To hangup.....tap twiceTo reject a call....press and hold for about one second.
  11. Q Can you use 1 ear bud at a time?
    A Yes, they're just like regular ear buds but cordless.
  12. Q Son resistentes al agua?
    A Yes water resistant but not water proof.

    A Hi Gary, thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, our inventory of JLab Air True earbuds are at the Amazon warehouses and handled by Amazon, so we are unable to split the product and send an individual earbud. Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thank you.
  15. Q Is there any protective cases for them?
    A Yes, they come in a small sleek case that actually charges them when they are inside. Once the case is charged you can get several recharges out of it that last many hours.
  16. Q How much does it take to full charge the earbuds using the case?
    A For full charge about an hour. But when they die. Just put them in the case For 3 minutes and you have at least 20 minutes
  17. Q Do the air icon have the be aware audio function?
    A Yes
  18. Q Do the lights stop blinking when in use?
    A Yes
  19. Q Can you pair these with any phone? I.e- iPhones?
    A The air icons are NOT compatible with iPhone 11. Not sure why, but there’s a whole Apple forum of iPhone 11 users (including me) who couldn’t get specifically the air icons to work on the 11. The regular jbud airs work fine.
  20. Q Do the earbuds have latency while watching videos?
    A For listening to just music, the sound is fine. But watching videos with the latency of like (I'm guessing here) .25 seconds, it get's noticeable and annoying to watch. On some videos, there's just a slight delay of someone's mouth moving and sound catching up with it. On other videos, the mouth has already finished a word and starting the next word and the sound is just playing the first word. I bought this to listen to music and watch videos but I guess I'll just be using it for music since it's cheap.
  21. Q Can this control to previous & next track or only next track?
    A Both previous and next: press and hold +1 second left bud to go to previous track, right ear bud same thing to next track.Pressing and holding is kind of uncomfortable because it mushes the bud into your ear canal, LOL But anyway, that's how it works.
  22. Q Do they connect as soon as you open the case, or do you have to take them out of the case?
    A I take them out of the charger and they connect by the time I have both in my ears
  23. Q Does the sound come through in stereo if only using one earbud? I like to have both music channels with one side in.
    A for iphone, i'm not sure what device you are using, no. if its connected through bluetooth you can only hear from the earbuds, but if you have the right side earbud in, ( the one with the bluetooth) you can isten with just that one in.

    A DONT shower with them lol
  25. Q The case is flashing on the first battery indication light and is stuck there. How do i fix it?
    A Make sure the buds are in the proper slots left and right. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
  26. Q Will they both work with iPhone XR?
    A Both will work with an iPhone except phone calls. Only the right ear piece with work on phone calls no matter what phone you have, it’s just how they were designed.

    A It will pair, but I find that it disconnects more frequently than if it were connected to the phone.

    A You can buy a replacement right/left earbud for $20 at jlabaudio.com Hope it helps.

    A Plug in to the same outlet that your usb use for charging.
  33. Q Will these work with android or amazon alexa?
    A They work with bluetooth enabled devices. So yes they work with android. Not sure what your question is about concerning Amazon alexa
  34. Q these only seem to work with my phone. When I try to use them on my Mac they turn on and off while using them.
    A These don't use the AAC codec for MAC so even it you did have a stable connection you still wouldn't get the results you are probably looking for. Look around for some buds that use the AAC audio codec instead of the regular SBC. That's what you want if you are using a Mac.

    A Yes but it has to be the right ear bud.
  38. Q Only the left earbud works, the right one doesn’t have sound. How do I fix it?
    A Always turn the right one on first. The best thing to do is turn off ear buds a put in case properly. This will reset the ear buds. And when you pull them out they should turn on properly.
  39. Q Will these work for an iPod touch?
    A As long as the touch has Bluetooth it should work.
  40. Q Do these earbuds emit emf? if so, do you know the range?
    A no
  41. Q Are these better sound quality than the standard Apple ear buds that come with Ipods? I think they sound good but want to upgrade to wireless.
    A Maybe, try these; you could always return them. Generally, the sound quality of a Bluetooth connection is inferior to a good wired connection; that is, Bluetooth connections will have a lower fidelity ceiling than good wired earbuds. But, these Jbuds' sound quality may indeed be better than that of your "standard" ipod buds.
  42. Q Only the right side works during phone calls. the left side is completely silent. Is that normal?
    A It clearly states in the instruction manual that only the right side will work during a phone call. That is probably to keep people from wearing them while driving.
  43. Q What are the best tips for these earbuds for comfort and sound?
    A still playing with them. I think the sound is great, but battery doesn't seem to last the 14 hrs promised
  44. Q How secure is the fit? I have always had problems getting earbud style headphones to stay in my ears
    A Get the Cloudfoam tips for an extra $10. These make for excellent fit and make the sound great. Also, don’t just push the earbuds in. Push in and then twist towards the back/inside of your ear. And use the optional little rubber lining that come with the earbuds. Then, you’ll have a more secure fit. Now that said, I’ve only used these while sitting at my desk and walking, but they feel like they’re not going anywhere.
  45. Q Do they cancel outside noise...???
    A They do if you really get them locked into your ears and in place well. There are different silicone tips that fit into your ears to try to find the right size. For me, the right is a solid fit, left is a little loose. Long story, short -- yes, they cancel outside noise when really locked in, but I haven't quite found the perfect fit yet to do that well with my pair.
  46. Q is the cable removable?
    A There is no cable. They are earbuds only
  47. Q Can anyone tell me about the warranty? I am nervous of having them for 3 months and them just dying and not working anymore.
    A I've had them for 6-8 months, haven't had any problems. Going strong.
  48. Q Do they have noise canceling features??
    A They’re not going to give you noise canceling like big headphones that surround your ears, but I’ve found that the Cloudfoam tips also available from JLAB will block out a good amount of sound and enhance the music sound, especially bass.

    A I do almost daily without issues

    A Yes. You can still adjust your volume normally using the phone. Or you can use the buttons on the earbuds themselves, or a smartwatch with media controls if you prefer.
  53. Q Is the charger compatible for using 220 volt to charge or only 110 volt..?
    A the earbuds are attached through a usb and that is connected to the 110. I don' see why you wouldn't work. Call Jlab
  54. Q When i plug in the case, it says i should be getting flashing led's, but nothing happens? am i doing something wrong? also, no led lites when plugge
    A Is the case also plugged in to electric

    A Couple of hours
  56. Q Can you charge both the charging case and the earbuds simultaneously, by putting the earbuds in the case and charging the case?
    A Yes you can.
  57. Q How do I get rid of echo?
    A According to the video on jlabs site, it's because the rubber fit ring is covering the tiny mic hole on the bud. Check that it is not blocked.
  58. Q Does it have extra rubber tips?
    A Yes, they have rubber tips.
  59. Q 2 devices connected glitch? Only get audio out of one bud because my phone thinks both headphones are a seperate entitiy.
    A This happened to me too. There's writing instructions and a video on their website on resolving this issue.
  60. Q Says it's Bluetooth 5.0 at the top but then the product info says it's Bluetooth 4.2. Which is correct?
    A It says in the description. The box says 4.2 but, it wasn't updated in time. They are actually 5.0 but, how the hell do we know this? Could be bullsttin us
  61. Q How do i charge these headphones? might sound stupid, i’ve never seen a 5v usb like this.
    A It fits all normal USB outlets. Just plug it in

    A I get sound only on right earbud, so guessing that's the default?

    A As long as your source has Bluetooth and can pair to these buds, yes.

    A I do not know i only use them on my laptop they sound good but battery does not last as long as they say they do i only get about 5 to 6 hours out of them but they do fully recharge in about 20 min. might last longer if you just used them with your phone but not sure.
  66. Q Whats taking so long to ship?
    A I think they ship from the manufacturer in California, and I live in the midwest. It took mine over a week. not sure why... but I gotta say, well worth the wait! These things are fantastic!
  67. Q The charging cable looks unfamiliar. What kind of cable is that? Will it plug into a typical wall charger?
    A Its USB. It works with wall chargers and all other chargers that use USB
  68. Q How long do they take to charge to 100%?
    A When I got mine they had 2 lights so I have only charged once and I had them plugged in less than an hour.
